Hi all!
I'm thinking of buying a couple of DVD's. I wanted to know whether to buy the steve smith part 1 and 2 dvd's or the Steve Gadd ADAA. Which ones do you find the most entertaining/inspirational.
Thanks

Get the Smith DVDs...easily the best drum vid stuff I've ever bought...just for the old archival stuff alone it's worth the measly 18 or so bucks.
The ZIldjian Day solos on both DVDs are sick.

Thanks Benrand I'll be looking into the smith dvd's. Hasn't one of them got a drum duet with vinnie on it? If so I'm definitely gunna get it.

I would go with the Smith DVD's, too. I have both Smith DVD's and the Gadd disc. There is some good stuff on the Gadd disc, but the Smith series offers more bang for the buck, especially if you're a fan of his (as I am). The bonus footage alone would justify the price.
I got mine cheap from Amazon Marketplace:
part 1
part 2
I usually search for vendors who specify "new, in shrink-wrap" and have at least a 4.5 rating with 100's if not 1000's of feedbacks.

Yeah, the bonus footage justifies the LOW LOW price.
Seriously, this price for these discs is inrcedible considering what's being offered.
